* Pedantic, nerdy note: It's usually the other alien in the strip ("Spring onion head") who calls the human characters "Earth Thing". However, this joke felt it worked better with Tim, maybe as he's generally a more inquisitive character who enjoys questioning Ol and the others about life on Earth.
